The Art of Preaching

This course offers theological and practical approaches to the art of preaching. Fr. Cardó begins with a reflection on the centrality of preaching in the context of the situation of the Church and the world. He then lays the foundations of the theological understanding of preaching, following recent teachings from the Magisterium and the insights of classic authors on the topic. This leads us to a reflection on the incarnation as a key for effective preaching, which will be the foundation for the final topics, of a more practical nature: the preparation and delivery of the liturgical homily.
