The Origins and Structure of the Eucharist
A high level summary of how we got to the Mass we experience today.
Have you ever wondered how we ended up with the Mass that you see today? This course begins with a study of the origins of the Eucharist at the Last Supper. It follows the historical development of Eucharistic worship in the patristic period and the middle ages as well as the revision of the Roman rite following the Council of Trent.
Please note: The lectures in this course are more advanced than in our other online courses.
